Aspiring Dreams

Aspiring journalist Casey Claiborne spent most of his life in the small town of Jacksonville, Texas.  While in high school, Casey was given the opportunity to work as a news anchor for a segment that played during lunches. He also wrote for his high school newspaper, The Drum Beat. Now, barely 24-years old, Casey still shows his enthusiasm for the media and its’ entities.

Casey started his educational career by attending a Junior college in Jacksonville. After completing his Associate’s degree, he took the next steps and enrolled into the University of North Texas’s Electronic News Media program. Casey felt an instant connection to this line of work and his passion for the media is evident as many of his future goals reflect it.

Aside from reporting and volunteering at NTTV as the Nightly News Anchor/Reporter on Wednesdays; Casey has a passion for playing the Piano. His other hobbies consist of singing, and watching movies such as, Cast Away.

Casey feels his dream job would be somewhat relative to Ryan Seacrest’s TV host/ producer lifestyle. However, Casey expresses that in an ideal world, Justin Timberlake has the perfect job.

Although future goals are still being sought out, this young and energetic journalist is sure about one thing; and that is his passion for being a part of the news world. And after expressing his desire to possibly partake in a career as a “MoJo”, or, Mobile Journalist, “Casey Claiborne” will one day be a name the world knows and loves!
