The website is short and sweet. It is not 5 scrolls down the page it is concise and what you want to see. They have a section on the top that allows you to choose your community, interest, and how much you want to see of all the news. That is IDEAL especially for people on the go that KNOW exactly what they are looking for. Neighborsgo is an appropriate name for this type of news website. The ads don’t just show ads for tangible items, it shows job searches, and fitness tid-bits!
The ads may be a little large, but it does not distract too much from the actual website. They set it up properly and it is effective in the way the public sees the newspaper.
Its a very personable website, the fact that you can comment on stories (especially if they are local) it is a nice blend of news and opinion. Although, it can start legitimacy issues on “blogs” and so forth it is a cool way to keep the community involved with their local news!
